Gurugram: Bharatiya Janata Party leader Manoj Tiwari on Sunday claimed that Home Minister Amit Shah tested negative for COVID-19. However, denying his claims, the Ministry of Home Affairs said that the COVID test for Shah has not yet been conducted.
"Countrymen, the COVID report of Home Minister Amit Shah has come out negative," Tiwari had tweeted in Hindi.

Amit Shah had been admitted to Medanta hospital in Gurugram, after being tested positive for COVID-19 on August 2.
The Home Minister had announced about the infection on Twitter. He said that he got tested after displaying initial symptoms of novel coronavirus.
Shah had said, "On getting the initial symptoms of corona, I got the test done and the report came back positive. My health is fine, but I am being admitted to the hospital on the advice of doctors. I request that all of you who have come in contact with me in the last few days, please isolate yourself and get your inquiry done."
