Gujarat ATS unearth Rs. 10 crore in old currency notes

Godhra: The Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) unearthed old currency notes of denomination 500 and 1000 in Godhra district on Tuesday. According to reports, the currency notes are worth Rs. 10 crores. 

As the area falls within the limits of Godhra B Division police station, ATS carried out a joint raid with the help of police personnel. The number of notes was reportedly counted by ordering a currency note counting machine from a nearby bank.  

Further investigation is underway.
