Kheda: As entire mankind across the globe is suffering due to coronavirus pandemic, a farmer in Gujarat's Kheda district is on a mission to free the entire district from the disease.
Devendrabhai Patel, a young farmer from Arera village, is on a mission to fight coronavirus by carrying on sanitization drive in the district with his own resources, time and energy.
He said that he is inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi who works for 12 hours every day for the country.
"When the PM is putting in so much efforts, we should also take up the fight against coronavirus seriously and in right earnest," he said.
Patel starts off on his bike early in the morning every day, carrying with him a pump, and sprays sanitizer on roads, lanes and houses in towns and villages.
He works for 15 hours every day and sanitized 5,000 houses across Nadiad town and spent Rs 1 lakh from his pocket.
He also said that he is determined to carry on with the sanitisation campaign until entire Kheda district becomes corona free.
