11 gates of Narmada dam opened following heavy rains in Gujarat

Heavy rainfall in the state forced authorities to open 11 gates of Narmada Dam on Friday. Water level of the dam crossed 131 metres for the first time.

Gandhinagar: Eleven gates of Narmada Dam were opened due to heavy rainfall in Gujarat on Friday. The dam water level crossed 131 metres for the first time.

The bridge connecting Gora and Kevadiya submerged due to heavy rainfall in the Narmada.

11 gates of Narmada dam opened due to heavy rainfall in Gujarat on Friday.

The level has been on the rise for the past 15 days following heavy rainfall in the catchment areas.

On the same date last year, the water level of Sardar Sarovar Dam was 111.30 m and water storage was almost half of the present storage.

On the same date last year, the water level of Sardar Sarovar Dam was 111.30 m and water storage was almost half of the present storage.
