New Delhi: The Delhi Police on Saturday arrested a woman for allegedly sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl in the city’s Dabri area in Dwarka. The incident came to light when the girl narrated her ordeal to her parents. In her complaint to the police, she accused the woman of sexually assaulting her and making a video of the act.
The girl also told police that the woman threatened to kill her and warned against informing others about the incident. The woman reportedly runs an NGO and she is said to have connections with some influential political leaders, reports said. She is also said to be an active worker with a political party and the vice president of Mahila Morcha in Tilak Nagar.
Her photos with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh and Congress leader Mahabal Mishra are also doing the rounds on social media after which the Delhi State BJP unit attacked both parties.
