Will complete all Ganga projects by next March: Nitin Gadkari

Union minister Nitin Gadkari recently claimed that all pending Ganga projects will be over by next March. He was addressing a fund raiser event for clean Ganga movement. He also wishes to include one crore people in the mission.

New Delhi: Addressing a gathering at the fund raiser event for clean Ganga movement, Union minister for Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation claimed that all pending Ganga projects will be over in next 13 months.

Applauding contribution of all state governments through which ganga flows, the union minister said, "So far, 35℅ of projects have been completed. Today, I pledge that all projects on Ganga will be over by next March."

The Union Minister also expressed his desire to include one crore people in the clean Ganga mission.

Hailing Gadkari, Union finance minister Arun Jaitley claimed, "Under Gadkari leadership, India is now the fastest highway building country in the world and I am confient that he will also fulfill his promise of completing all the Ganga projects by next March.
