New Delhi: Coming from upper Assam's Dibrugarh Lok Sabha constituency, Rameswar Tali is confident enough that whatever responsibility is given to him he will perform it with his full effort.
"This morning I got calls from BJP president Amit Shah and BJP general secretary (Organising) Ramlal ji that I should meet at the Prime Minister office at 5 p.m. I was also formed that I would be given a big responsibility," said Tali to ETV Bharat while giving his first reaction.
Tali is inducted in the Narendra Modi government 2.0. He won Dibrugarh Lok Sabha seat in the just concluded election by defeating his Congress rival Pawan Singh Ghatowar by a huge margin.
"I have joined the party in 1999 and since then I was working with full dedication. I have worked with people from all walks of life," said Tali.
According to the sources, Tali was inducted into the cabinet after taking his performance and sincerity for the party into consideration.
