New Delhi: In a surprising revelation, it has now come to light that suspended AAP Councillor Tahir Hussain's house once served as BJP leader Kapil Mishra's campaign office.
It is believed that Hussain and Mishra were once close friends, when the latter was a part of the Aam Aadmi Party. In the run-up to the state Assembly polls in 2013, when Mishra was the AAP candidate from Karawal Nagar, he used Hussain's house as his campaign office.
But that is not all. It is believed that Hussain got an AAP ticket during the 2017 municipal polls due to the efforts of Mishra and another AAP leader Dilip Pandey.
However, the relationship between the two soured after Mishra switched over to the BJP from AAP.
Though they were close to each other at one point of time, it can safely be said that their friendship has indeed faded away now, as it was Mishra, who had first accused Hussain of being involved in the riots.

After the recovery of intelligence Bureau employee Ankit Sharma's body from the violence-hit area, family members of the IB staffer reportedly accused Tahir Hussain, of plotting Sharma's death. However, Hussain in a video statement claimed that he too was a victim of the violence that broke out in several parts of northeast Delhi.
However, Mishra, who himself was accused of giving inflammatory speeches that allegedly sparked the violence, came down hard at Hussain, accusing him of rioting.
In his video statement, even Hussain had pointed fingers at Mishra, claiming that ever since Mishra made his provocative speech, the situation in Delhi had worsened.
