New Delhi: Amidst the anti-CAA protests in Shaheen Bagh, a man was found brandishing a pistol Tuesday afternoon. He waved a pistol in the air, which caused a stir among the people present there. When people tried to catch him, he fled away. After receiving information about the incident, the police has started its probe.

Police sources said that the incident happened in the midst of the ongoing protest at Shaheen Bagh in the afternoon.
''The man who came here wanted to end the protests'', said the police officials.
The accused identified as Mohammad Luqmaan has been called for questioning today.
Police said that he has a licensed pistol and works as a property dealer. However, it's still not clear why was he waving the pistol. An investigation is underway.
