New Delhi: The BJP on Friday said that people have faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership and that he has already made it clear that those eyeing India's territory will be given a befitting reply.
"He has made it clear that we are neighbours and we want friendly relations but a befitting reply would be given to any aggressor," BJP general secretary Arun Singh said here in a virtual press conference.
To a question about the killing of various police personnel in an encounter in Uttar Pradesh, he said the state government will not spare the criminals. He also brushed aside opposition's criticism of the law and order situation in the state, alleging that earlier those in power were involved in crime. Now the BJP government has gone hard after criminals.
