Delhi: On Thursday, Crime Branch of Chankyapuri called in three Jamia students, Abdul Bari, Junaid Ashraf and Rahim for interrogation following the violent protest against CAA on 15 December.
According to the sources, these students were among the list of suspects in the vehemently violent protest, the crime branch has initiated a probe to sketch out the role of these students.

Police had registered two FIRs after the protest near Jamia on December 15, one of them was lodged in Jamia Nagar Police Station while the other in New Friends Colony Police Station. Later on, these cases were handed over to the Crime Branch of Chankyapuri.
On the report of sources, the students appeared at 12 in the afternoon for the interrogation, Moreover, former legislator Asif Muhammad along with the local leader, Ashu Khan was also interrogated in regard to the Jamia protest.
