East Delhi: Love triangle leads to stabbing and suicide attempt

Man attacked a woman and her lover and attempted suicide in the Mandawali area of East Delhi. Police have identified the case of a triangular love affair and further investigations are being carried out.

Mandawali (East Delhi): A triangular love affair led to a freak incident in East Delhi, when a 27-year-old man allegedly stabbed a woman and her lover, and then attempted suicide.

Police have identified the case as a love triangle which has led to this crime in the Mandawali area of East Delhi. The accused named Saurav found Reshma along with her lover at her home.

According to reports, the man became furious and attacked both of them, after that he tried to slit his throat with a blade. The neighbours informed the police and then admitted them to the hospital.

The attacker is said to be in a critical situation, however, the woman and her lover are out of danger now, the police said.

Besides, Reshma met the accused through a matrimonial site but they parted ways after some time.

A case has been registered by the police and further investigation are being carried out.
