New Delhi: Former Chief Minister and Congress candidate from North East Delhi constituency, Sheila Dikshit, claimed that Congress will taste victory in all seven seats in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, the former chief minister said that fight is between the BJP, Congress and the ruling Aam Aadmi Party in the state.
"AAP was reluctant to give us more than four seats. Talks about 'Ghatbandhan' fell through as AAP, a relatively new political outfit was trying to bargain with Congress, irrespective of our history and influence," Sheila Dikshit said, silencing coalition talks.
Questioning the AAP and the BJP for its development narrative, she claimed that Delhi has not progressed after Congress's ouster from power.
"I have seen the response from the people of Delhi. When the results come, Congress will return to power," she said.
Reacting to a personal attack against Rajiv Gandhi by the Prime Minister, she said the BJP is afraid of Congress and is trying to divert attention from the real issues.
National Capital will go to polls on May 12 in Phase 6 of the general elections.
