"Their baggage was scanned through the X-ray Baggage Inspection Machine where some suspicious images were noticed. On being asked, they denied carrying any contraband goods," a senior officer said.

During a detailed examination, nearly 14 kg of white-coloured powder was recovered, which was concealed in special cavities of their checked-in baggage.

The sample of the recovered substance was subjected to Modified Drug Detection Kit which prima facie confirmed the recovered substances to be Heroin.
