New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party leader Atishi Marlena recorded her statement on Wednesday in Tis Hazari court against Gautam Gambhir, MP from East Delhi Lok Sabha seat, for allegedly possessing two voter ID cards. The court has fixed August 26 to record other witnesses' statements.
In the petition, Atishi has alleged that Gambhir owns one voter ID of Rajendra Nagar constituency and another ID of Karol Bagh constituency. She further alleged that it is a violation of the Representation of People's Law.
Atishi has alleged in her complaint that Gambhir has another voter ID with an address different from that of his nomination paper.
In the last Lok Sabha elections, Gautam Gambhir defeated Arvinder Singh Lovely of Congress and Atishi Marlena of AAP.
