IPS Ankita Sharma guides UPSC aspirants in her police station

IPS Ankita Sharma encourages and inspires UPSC aspirants not only with her profession but also through guidance classes. The IPS officer engages in guiding UPSC aspirants every Sunday in her police station.

Raipur: Chhattisgarh's young IPS officer Ankita Sharma is guiding the future IPS officers along with discharging her duties towards the country. Ankita Sharma, posted as CSP Kotwali in the capital Raipur, hailing from a small village made her mark in the police department by succeeding in the UPSC exam. Along with her work, she is also bringing acclaim to her department.

Ankita is helping UPSC aspirants. She meets the students and resolves their problems between 1 am to 11 pm along with her busy schedule on Sunday, that is, one day per week.

Ankita Sharma says that she qualified the IPS exam after going through many difficulties and she does not want these young aspirants to go through similar hardships. Ankita says that there was no one to guide her during the IPS exam. If she can help someone with her experience, then she definitely wants to do it

She does not want others to go through similar hardship

IPS Ankita Sharma, while talking to ETV Bharat, said that she did not know much about UPSC pattern of exam or IPS. Due to this, she faced a lot of difficulties while preparing for UPSC. So she is now trying to solve similar queries and problems of those who are aspiring to become public servants.

IPS Ankita Sharma has started a unique initiative. IPS Ankita Sharma had posted on Instagram that UPSC aspirants can meet her at Azad Chowk police station between 11 am to 1 pm on every Sunday. After this message, IPS Ankita Sharma received calls from several students. Since then, every Sunday, students come to her office to seek guidance regarding preparation for UPSC exams.

Twenty to thirty students in a class

Ankita Sharma takes classes from 11 am to 1 pm every Sunday for UPSC exam. About 20 to 30 students come to her office to attend this class. Ankita advises students to read as many books as they can.

Students preparing for UPSC exams told that IPS Ankita Sharma is everyone's inspiration. They are getting a lot of help from this class. There was a lot of confusion about the exam, but after attending Ankita's class, they found solutions to a lot of problems.

Students said that they have been told to read books in order to find a solution to any problem as the book is the only guide that can resolve any issues faced by the students. Also, the questions asked in the exam also come from the book itself. Students also said that they had a lot of trouble with different platforms of social media, which no longer exist now.
