Security forces arrest five Naxalites in Chhattisgarh

Five Naxals identified as Uika Ayata, Madkam Haram, Deepesh Hemla, Balku and Godru Tamo have been arrested by security forces in Chhattisgarh.

Chhattisgarh: In what could be termed major success for the security forces on the Naxalite front, five Naxals were arrested from three districts of Chhattisgarh.

Two Naxalites involved in the killing of assistant constables have been arrested by the security forces from the Sukma district. They have been identified as Uika Ayata and Madkam Haram, residents of Chintagufa and Alarmadgu.

Deepesh Hemla arrested from Bijapur district

Another dreaded Naxalite, Deepesh Hemla was arrested from Bijapur district. He has been accused in several cases including arson and for his active involvement in Naxalite activities.

Godru Tamo arrested from Dantewada

Balku arrested from Dantewada

While, two Naxalites, including one carrying a bounty of Rs 1,00,000, have been arrested in Dantewada. The arrested Naxalites have been identified as Balku and Godru Tamo.
