Mungeli: Migrants labourers quarantined in Chhattisgarh's Lormi Nagar Panchayat created a ruckus after they were served stale and substandard food.
On Wednesday night, the migrant workers, infuriated at the state of food, started protesting and threw it away. They also alleged that the administration does not give them food on time and they have to wait in starvation for hours.
Around 45 migrant labourers from other states have been quarantined in the merchant Dharamshala of Ward no. 7 of Lormi Nagar.
Lormi SDM Naveen Kumar Bhagat reached the spot after getting the news and tried to calm the workers down.
Nagar Panchayat administration has been constantly accused of supplying inferior food.
