Five-month pregnant DSP is doing duty in Dantewada

In light of the increasing coronavirus cases in the Dantewada district, the district administration has imposed a lockdown. The entire police staff has been deployed and is advising people to stay in their homes. Among the police officials, five-month pregnant DSP Shilpa Sahu was seen doing duty on the road.

Despite her pregnancy, DSP Shilpa Sahu stood on the road and issued challans along with her team under a scorching sun. Shilpa Sahu is a member of the Dantewada Reserve Guard's one-of-a-kind 'Danteshwari Women Commandos', raised to fight the menace of Naxalism in the state. She has also urged the general public to take precautions for Covid-19 and stay at home.
