Rajnandgaon: A son of Dhaba owner, who was abducted by unknown people last night from the eatery, has been rescued by the police, an official said.
However, police teams are still searching for the kidnappers, he said.
The incident took place in Devada village, which falls under Somini police station area, when some people came by two cars and took Gurpreet Singh, minor son of Baljeet Singh who runs a Dhaba, along with them forcibly.
It was reported to the police and they, after forming different teams, started searching for the boy. The boy was rescued unharmed by one of the police teams.
Police were also given the registration numbers of cars by the workers of the Dabha. Police officials are trying to trace the kidnappers, the official said.
