Chhattisgarh: Excise Minister Kawasi Lakhma told the media that home delivery of liquor will start soon in the state and that it may begin from Monday, 10 May.

The reason behind this decision of the government is being said to be financial loss as economic activities are stopped due to lockdown.

Since the government is suffering losses on the economic front due to the discontinuation of liquor sales, this decision has been taken.

The Chhattisgarh government has launched a portal to facilitate home delivery in green zones of the state in a bid to avoid overcrowding at alcohol outlets.
