Motihari: A woman married Talif Reza after converting to another religion in Dubai and now, she was complaining that she was deserted by her husband. The aggrieved woman belongs to the Patani locality in the Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh whereas her husband Talif Reza Semra is a resident of Belvatia village in Bihar's East Champaran district.
The victim somehow managed to trace the whereabouts of her husband. She was protesting outside her in-laws' house in Bihar, seeking justice in the matter. Narrating her ordeal, Preeti said she came in contact with Talif while studying in a coaching institute in UP's Noida. Gradually, she fell in love with him. "Later, Talif went to Dubai and asked me to come over there. Before marrying Talif, I was converted to another religion," she said.

"Everything was going fine. I came to my parent's place in Uttar Pradesh. After some time when I returned to Dubai, the house where Talif lived was found to be locked. When I broke open the house, cash and valuables were found missing," she alleged. "Later, I came to know that Talif had fled from his Dubai home and was staying in Bihar's Motihari (East Champaran) district," she said. "We haven't received an application from the aggrieved woman. Legal action will be taken after woman lodging a complaint with the police," said Raj, the Sadar DSP
On the other hand, the victim woman has been staging a protest at her husband's village in Bihar. But, the matter was not resolved and no one came forward from her husband's family to accept her. Now, she has been planning to lodge a complaint against her husband at Turkaulia police station.
