Speaking to media persons, Bihar MP and spokesperson of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Manoj Jha said, "Bihar government expressed its inability to bring back migrant labourers and students stranded in various parts of the country citing lack of enough buses at the disposal of the state government. But RJD leader, Tejashwi Yadav is ready to give his 2000 buses to Bihar government to bring back migrant labourers and students from various parts of the country."
"Bihar's leader of opposition Tejashwi Yadav is ready to give 2000 bus to the Bihar government, so the government is requested to give up the excuse and start bringing Bihar people stranded in other states," Jha said.

"Bihar government is not taking this issue seriously. The people of Bihar who are trapped in other states are in a lot of trouble. Bihar government should understand the pain of all. Now the Bihar government should start working effectively on this issue," Jha added.
Notably, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi on Wednesday made it clear that the state government did not have enough buses to bring back migrant labourers and students from various parts of the country.
Reportedly, Modi said that there are 25 lakh Bihar labourers stranded outside Bihar and if all of them are brought to Bihar by following the rules of social distancing, then 1.70 lakh buses will be required and Bihar does not have that much. The Bihar government has only 600 buses of its own.
