Patna: Ahead of Bihar polls, several senior leaders from the opposition parties have joined Chief Minister Nitish Kumar led Janata Dal (United) on Friday.
Veteran Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Bhola Rai, Congress leaders Purnima Yadav, Sudarshan and Rashtriya Lok Samta Party leader Abhishek Jha joined the party in the presence of JD(U) senior leader Lalan Singh at the party headquarters in Patna.
Welcoming the newly joined leaders, Singh said that this is just the trailer, the whole film would be more adventurous.
He asserted that several leaders from RJD and Congress are about to join Nitish Kumar in the coming days.

Earlier on Thursday, senior leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh sent his handwritten resignation to Lalu Prasad Yadav saying that "After (former Chief Minister and socialist icon) Karpuri Thakur's death, I stood by you for 32 years, but no more."
However, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav had met him and tried to convince him but the efforts were futile.
Assembly elections in Bihar are due in October-November as the tenure of the current Assembly is scheduled to end on November 29. The Election Commission has not yet taken a final call on poll dates in Bihar due to coronavirus pandemic and has sought suggestions from political parties.
