Nalanda (Bihar): After Rashtriya Janata Dal candidate, Atri Muni alias Shakti Singh Yadav was defeated in Hilsa Assembly constituency of Nalanda district by just 13 votes, his angry supporters created a ruckus.
The supporters accused the government and administration of fraud and raised slogans against them.
The supporters also claimed that Atri Muni was made to lose the elections after he had won the elections with a good majority.

The defeat of RJD candidate was announced after the counting of votes in Sogra College in Bihar Sharif following which the RJD supporters took to streets and started protesting against the government and the administration.
Following the protest, a large number of police force including the Central Reserve Police force reached the spot and tried to pacify the matter.
The police and the administration were able to pacify the protesters after much efforts.
