'Raghuvansh Prasad Singh should leave RJD immediately'

BJP MP from Bihar Ram Kripal Yadav said that RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh is "uncomfortable in the party" and that he should immediately leave RJD. Yadav made these remarks after Tej Pratap Yadav, the eldest son of former Bihar chief ministers Lalu Prasad Yadav, compared Raghuvansh Prasad Singh with a jug of water.

New Delhi: Former central minister and BJP leader Ram Kripal Yadav has said that "no self-respecting person can survive anymore in the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD)" and urged Raghuvansh Prasad Singh to leave it.

Interacting with ETV Bharat here, the BJP MP from Bihar said Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, who is a big RJD leader, is "uncomfortable in the party".

Ram Kripal Yadav made these remarks after Tej Pratap Yadav, the eldest son of former Bihar chief ministers Lalu Prasad Yadav, compared Raghuvansh Prasad Singh with a jug of water.

On Monday, responding to journalists about RJD's vice president resigning from the party, Tej Pratap replied that the RJD was like a sea and it would not be affected much if anyone takes a jug of water out of it.

The BJP MP said he knows the kind of work that Raghuvansh Prasad Singh has put in to help the party attain heights in the past but now it's all over and there is no point staying with the RJD any longer.

"It's not only about Raghuvansh Prasad Singh but no leader with self-respect can survive in the RJD," he asserted, saying "I would ask him to leave it as he cannot be there by killing his soul".

Ram Kripal Yadav also said that the no one would vote for the RJD as it was already a history in the state.

"What have they done for the state. why would people vote for them," he asked.

Talking about BJP chief J P Nadda and party Rajya Sabha MP Bhupender Yadav's proposed meeting with saffron party's MPs from the state in Delhi, he said the meeting will take place on August 29 but he was not aware of the agenda.

"I have information about the meeting but I don't know what the agenda would be," he said, adding that most probably upcoming elections of Bihar assembly would be discussed among other things.
