Patna: Bihar MLA Madan Mohan Tiwari on Saturday pitched in the demand for a special status to the state on Saturday. In addition, Tiwari also attacked state chief minister Nitish Kumar over his claims of providing special status to Bihar.
Claiming Nitish's demands as a publicity gimmick, Tiwari said, "He had appealed for the same to the Centre several times but it was turned down. It was just an act of publicity."

Further, requesting CM Kumar, Tiwari added: "Tomorrow the NDA will address a rally in Patna's Gandhi Maidan, I request Nitish to make an announcement of special status to the state through PM Modi."
NDA has claimed that the rally will have the largest gathering of people ever witnessed in Gandhi Maidan.
