Children die after falling into boiling milk in Bihar

Two children died after falling into a container with boiling milk at their house at Barail village in Madhubani town. The duo succumbed to their burn injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Madhubani (Bihar): Two children succumbed to their burn injuries after they fell into a container with boiling milk while playing in their house at Barail village in Madhubani town in Bihar's Darbhanga on Monday.

The children have been identified as Amit (2) and his sister, Anjali (5) of the same locality.

According to sources, the incident took place this afternoon when the duo was playing near the huge boiling milk container.

Suddenly, the kids fell into the cauldron in which about 30 litres of milk was boiling.

The children were immediately rushed to a private hospital from where they were shifted to the Darbhanga DHH, sources said.

Unfortunately, the duo succumbed to their burn injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
