Gaya (Bihar): The family members of the Madhubani massacre victims have demanded the accused to be hanged in order to "provide peace" to the departed souls.
Earlier on Saturday, the family of the deceased individuals also performed Pind Daan, a Hindu ritual to bring salvation to departed souls, on the banks of the Falgu river in Bihar's Gaya district.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Vinita Devi, the wife of the slain BSF jawan who was one of the victims, demanded that the accused should be hanged till death.
"My husband was in the Army. Nothing happened to him at the border but he was killed in the village. I want justice," she added.
Meanwhile, the deceased's son said that he along with his family has come to perform the Pind Daan but the departed souls will only get salvation when all the accused will be encountered.
