Purnea (Bihar): No matter how much politicians work to spoil the communal harmony in the country for political gain, Indians leave no stone unturned to maintain the peace and unity in plurality.
Setting a great example of communal harmony, a family in Bihar's Purnea district have been observing fast during Ramadan for the last 32 years.
The family's four children, Muskaan, Shreya, Sweety and Shivam, also observe fast. They not only observe fasts but also recite the holy Quran, feed the poor and celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with great zeal.
Speaking over this, Sushkil Kishore Prasad said that the whole world is one family and humanity is the first religion of mankind.
"We must learn to forget the mystery of religion and adopt its goodness. There should be equal faith in all religions and all festivals should be enjoyed openly," he said.
It is to be noted that the devotion and spiritual strength of the family set a great example of brotherhood and communal harmony.
