Cops thrash doctor in Bihar,video goes viral

In a shocking incident, a doctor was allegedly thrashed by cops when he refused to perform an autopsy on a female constable's dead body, due to lack of staff to perform the procedure. The whole incident was caught, on a CCTV camera, which later went viral.

Siwan: A government hospital doctor was beaten up by cops at Sadar Hospital in the city on Saturday after he refused to perform a post-mortem.

The incident took place on Saturday evening, a woman constable's dead body was brought to the hospital for post mortem by the police officials. The doctor refused to perform the post-mortem as the body was in bad condition, and the hospital did not have enough staff members to perform the procedure, at night. The medical board had referred the case to Patna Medical College and hospital.

However, when the same was informed to the cops, they started hurling abuses at the doctor and thrashed him badly.

The whole incident was caught ,on a CCTV camera, which later went viral.
