New Delhi: Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Ashwini Kumar Choubey on Friday said that the central government is helping Bihar government in every possible way to fight against Corona.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Choubey said, "So far, the central government has given 500 ventilators to Bihar government for the treatment of patients. Over 10000 oxygen cylinders have been delivered and oxygen concentrator machines have been ordered from Singapore."
"So far 750 oxygen concentrator machines have been given to Bihar and in the coming time, 2500 more will be given to the state government. Over 80000 tests are being done every day in Bihar and the recovery rate of the state has been improved. Patients are being treated well in private or government hospitals," Choubey said.
Hitting back at RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, Choubey said," Tejashwi is too young and he has no knowledge about the current condition of the state. He should first study, earn knowledge. I am advising him that he should not follow the path of his father. The Bihar government is not hiding the data or manipulating it, our government giving the correct figure regarding corona. Corona vaccine is also in full swing, scientists are also engaged and good results will come soon."
Reportedly, in a press conference at the party office in Patna, Tejaswi Yadav said, "There used to be 3,000-3,500 COVID-19 cases when the number of tests conducted were around 10,000. Now when the state is testing 75,000 samples the numbers are still restricted to 4,000. This means that the government is lying and manipulating the COVID-19 data. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is focusing on the increasing number of rapid Antigen testing to save his face."
Yadav also accused the Central government of meting out step-motherly treatment to Bihar.
