Bihar CM Nitish Kumar in Delhi; to meet PM, Shah, Nadda

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will shortly meet Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda in the national capital. The Chief Minister is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi tomorrow.

New Delhi: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday arrived at the national capital, and will meet with Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president JP Nadda.

Nitish said that he would talk to Nadda and Shah at the latter's residence in the context of Bihar.

"There will be discussion on the development of Bihar. The cabinet was expanded in Bihar only yesterday. We will talk about how the government should work next," Kumar said.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar arrived in Delhi today and is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday.

"There will be no discussion on whether the JDU will be included in the Union cabinet. There will be talks only about Bihar," Kumar said about his meeting with Modi.

It will be the first meeting between Modi and Kumar after the latter was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Bihar in November last year.

On Tuesday, 17 new members were inducted into the Bihar cabinet, including nine ministers from the BJP and eight from the JD (U), taking the strength of ministers in the cabinet to 31.
