New Delhi: Vijay Sinha, the Speaker of Bihar Legislative Assembly, has said that the centenary year of the historic assembly building is going on. As part of the centenary celebration, a grand program will be organised. The President of India Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guests. The much-hyped program is likely to be held next month.

Vijay Sinha further said on Thursday that he met President Ram Nath Kovind and invited him for grand gala program to mark the centenary celebrations of Bihar Legislative Assembly. He added that President Kovind will address and guide the sitting MLAs. He further said that all the former and incumbent MLAs, former and incumbent MPs, MLCs will be present in the the program. Tableaux of Bihar's culture will also be presented during the event and claims it be a historic moment.

The Bihar Speaker has also said that he will also meet the Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav to discuss about rail-related projects. Meanwhile, both the PM and the President have agreed to be part of this fete. The date of this program is yet to be decided.
