China builds hydropower project, road in Arunachal: Tapir Gao

Speaking to ETV Bharat, BJP leader Tapir Gao claimed that China has constructed a hydropower project and road near Lency river in Upper Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh. The Lok Sabha MP, who had been very vocal against the Chinese aggression said that these are now new aggression.

Tezpur: BJP leader Tapir Gao claimed that China has constructed a hydropower project and road near Lency river in Upper Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh.

Gao, BJP Lok Sabha MP from Arunachal, revealed this to ETV Bharat on Monday and said that he had already collected photographs of the projects done by China in the Indian territory of Arunachal Pradesh and submitted those to the Lok Sabha Speaker, the Home Ministry, the Defence Ministry, to the Chief of Defence Staff and to the Chief of Army Staff.

"Several remote areas in Indian side are under Chinese control now. The area called Moja had been Indian territory as Indian forces used to be there in the past but the place is occupied by Chinese right now. They have also constructed a hydropower project and a two-lane road near it," added Gao.

The Lok Sabha MP, who had been very vocal against the Chinese aggression said that these are new aggression.

"The aggression had been on since 1984 but now the construction of hydropower project and road is alarming," he added.
