Kakinada: Construction workers, digging the foundation for a building in Vidyut Nagar area in Kakinada town of Andhra Pradesh, chanced upon rusty firearms, reportedly from the British-era.
The workers recovered the vintage guns and informed the police, who in turn suspected their origin could date back to the British era, and have remained buried in the soil since then.
The weapons were later handed over to the Archaeological department by the Police.
