East Godavari: Seven people were killed in a road accident near Venkateswaraswamy Temple on Tantikonda Ghat Road on Friday.
It was reported that the van in which they were travelling in overturned due to brake failure.
The accident occurred around 3:30 am when the van commuting people for a wedding was on its way back.

Those injured were shifted to Rajahmundry Government Hospital for treatment.
The deceased were identified as belonging to Thakurpalem village in Gokavaram Mandal.
