Kurnool (Andhra Pradesh): While a typical primate indulges in fooling around the people, with its own version of 'monkey business', a langur, residing in Kurnool district's Vengalampalle village has a vocation of its own!
For the past few weeks, the monkey has been interacting with the students of a government school in the village and it is said that it pays rapt attention to the classes as well.
This unusual sight has caught the attention of the locals and others from the neighbouring villages, who have been thronging the area to glimpse the monkey in action.
According to locals, the monkey strolls down a nearby hill, every morning, and sits with the students in the classroom. Though the students were initially afraid of the new visitor, they are now used to it and are enjoying its company.
It does not display any hostility towards the students and moves among them, grabbing a snack or two, especially during lunchtime.
During recess, students along with the monkey spend some gala time, before the latter returns to its home among the hills.
This particular act has also gone viral on social media.
