Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh): An unknown man raped a five-year-old girl sleeping at her home in Kakinada on Wednesday morning.
According to the police, a man named Pilliraju of the Gollipeta has two daughters. Pilliraju is working as a labourer. The girls' mother is staying in Hyderabad for work reasons. The children are staying with their grandparents.
On Tuesday night, the five-year-old girl who was sleeping at her grandparents home was kidnapped by a man. He kidnapped her at midnight, took her to the suburban cemetery and raped her. A passerby noticed the severely injured girl and handed her over to her family.
The child was immediately taken to Kakinada GGH hospital for treatment where she is currently being treated.
The District SP Adnan Nayeem Asmi visited the girl and asked doctors at GGH to provide better treatment to the girl. The SP has assured that the rapist will be nabbed soon.
