Fire breaks out at Visakhapatnam steel plant

A massive fire broke out at a steel plant in Visakhapatnam after an oil leak in the 1.2-megawatt electric motor. There were no reports of casualties.

Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh): A fire broke out at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant due to a turbine oil leak in the 1.2-megawatt electric motor on Thursday.
No injuries have been reported and an operation to contain the fire is underway.

Earlier, a massive fire broke out in a railway coach at the Telangana's Medchal railway station on Tuesday. There were no passengers in the coach and no casualties were reported. The fire was brought under control.
