Chittoor (Andhra Pradesh): A father who voted for his daughter contesting as a ward member in the panchayat elections, died near the polling station. The tragic incident took place at Ramasamudram in Chittoor district.
Gangappa (65), reached the polling station early in the morning to cast his vote for his daughter. After casting his vote, he came out of the polling station and fell unconscious. Family members tried taking the victim home in an auto but he died on the way.
