Tribal farmer held on suspicion of being a Naxal after he was traveling dressed in olive-coloured clothes. After conducting further inquiries, he was released. However, the Police has suggested people to avoid wearing such clothes.

Vishakhapatnam (AP): Police detained a tribal farmer clad in olive green attire, on suspicion that he may be a Naxal in Vishakhapatnam district.

The farmer, identified as Ravi is a resident of Vanabhagiri in Vishakhapatnam district.

Ravi was travelling, when the Police in a combing operation thought he might be 'Naxal' as he looked like one dressed in an olive green shirt and rubber boots.

Police after a thorough investigation and screening of the documents, finally freed Ravi.

Local people said that these olive-green shirts and boots are cheaper in the market and they are also good in cold climates. The incident of a farmer being detained under the suspicion of Naxal has caused panic among the local community.

Police, however, suggested that people must avoid wearing olive coloured clothes since the attire is associated with the Naxals.

One tribal farmer buy on olive green shirt, and shoes to protec him self from winter season.  Ravi who buy shirt in weekly bazar is residence of vanabhagiri village which is located in vishakapatnam district. he wear that olive green shirt, shoes and went another village by wlak, when police are in combing operation, they thought he may maoist. then police officials stops ravi, and enquired. and alo police gathered information from his villagers. finally they are checking his aadhar, and other identity proveing cards, then only police released ravi. the police officials give suggestion that people dont use that olive green shirts are used by moists, so dont use that type of colour clothes. and beware of buying clothes.
