Anantapur: As the nation battles the coronavirus pandemic, a couple from Andhra Pradesh has adopted a novel idea to educate people on the importance of taking precautions against the virus.
While wedding cards in India usually boast about the qualifications of the bride and groom, a couple from Anantapur district decided to print on their card the precautions people should take to keep themselves safe from the pandemic.
At the bottom of the card, a message in Telugu asks people to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and frequently clean their hands using sanitiser and soap.
Meanwhile, in a single largest spike, 180 new COVID-19 cases were added in Andhra Pradesh yesterday, taking the aggregate to 3,971. The death toll too increased by four to 68. The total number of active cases stood at 1,447.
