Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh): An Air India Express flight reportedly hit a pole while landing at the Vijayawada International Airport on Saturday.
According to reports, the Air India Express flight coming from Doha hit a pole while landing at the international airport at Gannavaram near Vijayawada.
The plane's wing was reportedly broken in the accident.
However, no casualties were reported. "All 64 passengers on board the flight and the crew are safe," airport director G Madhusudan Rao said.
Meanwhile, the airline has ordered an investigation into the mishap, an Air India Express spokesperson informed.
