Miami: Japan's number one tennis player Naomi Osaka on Friday said that she was nervous after winning her opening match in the Miami Open on Friday.
"I think what I had to do was just play within myself. For me, it's really tough because this is my first match since Australia, so I felt really nervous and I also felt a lot of expectations on myself. So it was more inwardly Yeah, just taking it one point at a time," Osaka said.

The world-number-two defeated Ajla Tomljanovic, 7-6(3), 6-4 in her first match action since winning the Australian Open.
"I think first rounds are one of the most nerve-wracking. So hopefully I will be able to be a bit more consistent and not as, in my words, not as hectic in my next match. But I expect to play really tough matches throughout this whole tournament," Osaka said after her second-round win over Tomljanovic.

Osaka extended her winning streak to 22 matches while moving on to the third round.
