David Beckham - man of vision

1998 world cup was the lowest point in Beckham's career when, in the 2nd round match against arch rivals Argentina he was sent off following an unnecessary foul on Diego Simeone in a match when England went on lose in the penalty shoot out after leading in one point of time.  The English media tore him to pieces. Beckham didn't uttered a word. The following World Cup in 2002 when coincidentally England were pooled with Argentina, the Argentine forwards were kept at bay by Beckham's leadership and in that match England dominated from the start. They were awarded a penalty in the 45th minute. It was none other than David Beckham who took the spot kick and coolly converted it. England won by that goal only. Beckham had his revenge.
