Hyderabad: Mumbai Indians on Friday night registered their biggest triumph over a declining Chennai Super Kings attack in the Indian Premier League match.

Although, what stole the limelight were speculations over Dhoni's retirement after he was found to be gifting his No.7 jersey to Pandya brothers -- Krunal and Hardik.

The official Twitter handle of Chennai Super Kings shared a picture of Pandya brothers with Dhoni's jersey and captioned, "At the end of the day, Cricket Hamari Jaan. #Yellove #CSKvMI."

Before the start of Chennai's 200th league match, Hardik took to Twitter and shared an adorable photo with the former World Cup-winning captain.

Few days ago, cameras installed at the ground's perimeter had captured a perfect snap of Dhoni handing over his jersey to Rajasthan Royals' star wicket-keeper Jos Buttler.

All this activity has caught attention of fans and they can't help but wonder if Dhoni will lead the Yellow Army in the next edition.

  • Dhoni Bhai giving away his jerseys to everyone this season. Probably the last time we are going to see him on the field 🤔 https://t.co/Xnwk0EN6pg
