Hyderabad: Prayas Ray Barman has become the youngest cricketer to make his debut in Indian Premier League (IPL) during the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore here at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

Prayas, a leg-spinner, hogged the headlines when he signed Rs 1.5 crore deal with RCB from a base price Rs 20 lakh during the IPL 2019 auction in December 2018.
The 16-year-old Bengal and RCB spin prodigy replaced pacer Navdeep Saini who conceded 40 runs and went wicketless during RCB's previous match against Mumbai Indians in Bengaluru.

IPL's youngest crorepati, Prayas, is an unknown quantity in the mix. So, he is expected to surprise SRH batsmen with his most prominent weapon- googly in his very first outing of the ongoing season.
