Mohali: England allrounder Sam Curran, who was bought by KXIP at a whopping price of 7.20 crore has started paying rich-dividend to his team. In the match against Delhi Capitals, the left-arm pacer became the youngest player to take a hat-trick in the history of Indian Premier League.

The 20-year-old turned the game upside down with his timely hattrick. While clinching hat-trick KXIP allrounder dismissed Delhi Capitals' Harshal Patel, Kagiso Rabada and Sandeep Lamichhane.
Sam Curran came in limelight after his extraordinary performance in England vs India test series. His brother Tom Curran played IPL last year for Kolkatta Knight Riders.
Interestingly no bowler could clinch hattrick in the last edition of the IPL.

The oldest bowler to have taken a hat-trick in IPL is Pravin Tambe, who achieved this feat at the age of 40.
Sam's was the 18th hat-trick in the history of IPL. Indian leg-spinner Amit Mishra, who has picked three hat-tricks holds the record for most hat-tricks in the cash league. Former KXIP skipper Yuvraj Singh has two hat-tricks under his belt.
