Hyderabad: India's much-anticipated Down Under series against Australia is set to begin on Friday with the white ball series comprising three one-dayers and as many twenty-20 internationals. The white-ball series will be followed by the four-match Test series.

Team India will look to defend the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, that they won 2-1 in 2018-19 under the leadership of Virat Kohli, who will not be around to lead this time after the Adelaide Test due to the birth of his first child.
India and Australia will face each other in three ODIs starting on Friday. Following one-dayers, both the side lock-horns for three-match T20I series, which starts on 4th of December, before facing each-other in much awaited four-match Test series, which starts on 17th December in Adelaide.

It must be noted that Indian captain Virat Kohli will return to the country after leading the side in the opening Test, which is going to be a day-night affair, due to the birth of his first child. And in Virat's absence, Ajinkya Rahane (vice-captain) is likely to lead in last three matches.
